Janna Hernholm

With more than 25 years of experience in San Diego’s real estate market, Janna’s level of client service is a significant factor in her consistently ranking among the top 25 agents in San Diego. In 2011, the Hernholm Group was recruited by Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty to launch their premier international brand in San Diego. The Hernholm Group has since become the #1 producer for Sotheby’s in San Diego. Prior to joining Pacific Sotheby’s, Janna was ranked in the top 1% among Prudential agents nationwide.
Janna and her husband called Pt. Loma home for ten years until they moved to Mission Hills in 1983, where they raised their three children. For the last 15 years she has been the #1 agent in Mission Hills, which testifies to her extensive neighborhood knowledge. Her expertise in urban coastal properties from Mission Hills to La Jolla has established her leadership role within the industry. When representing buyers, Janna’s greatest joy is “the treasure hunt”, finding the perfect home for her clients. Both buyers and sellers appreciate her negotiating skills and her talent for problem solving. Since 2009 she has received the annual Five Star: Best in Client Satisfaction award from San Diego Magazine.
Having received a graduate degree from University of Southern California and taught high school English for several years, Janna has a sincere interest in education and was actively involved in the schools her three children attended: Francis Parker, Grant Elementary, and The Bishop’s School. At Francis Parker Janna served on the Mother’s Club Board and later was recognized as a Grand Producer Underwriter for Francis Parker’s Scholarship Endowment and Faculty Professional Development Fund. She served three years on the Board of Trustees at The Bishop’s School and has an active membership on the Headmaster’s Council. She actively supports her neighborhood community, as evidenced by her matching donationto the Grant School Community Foundation for the purchase of classroom library books.
