This Spanish Hacienda is the second home designed by Cliff May. Not only is it designated as an historic landmark with Mills Act, but it is also on the US National Register of Historic Places. May’s characteristic single-story ranch house floorplan surrounds another signature feature, an idyllic courtyard. Generously scaled hallway with dark-stained timber ceilings and terracotta pavers introduces iconic interior that defines indoor/outdoor living. Five bee-hive fireplaces adorn bedrooms and living areas complimenting the casual elegance and authenticity of May’s design. Arcaded verandah off living room extends the relaxed living space overlooking lush canyon.
